I have heard pretty good things about Host Gator. They seem to be a pretty decent company and have a good hosting service.

What are the negatives of having them host your website? Has anyone come across anything negative about them when working with them?

I have been with them for more than a year and have nothing negative to say.

I'd like to say that no company is perfect.
Haven't experienced anything terrible with HG. I am happy with the kind of service/support they offer!

I too recently moved from asmallorange to HostGator's Swamp package. They have been very good so far and saved me the trouble of moving my site over as they did it free of charge, databases and emails included
So far I would definitely recommend them.
